MISSION: Share a little good will and make us all feel better about ourselves and our rising/thriving city

REQUEST: Write a love letter that involves Detroit. The topic is at your discretion

• It could quite literally be about the city (perhaps you “love” ice skating at Campus Martius)
• Send messages of hope and respect to a complete stranger. I will be working with businesses around the Detroit area, which will pass out the notes on random. Your words could be responsible for brightening someone’s day
• Address it to the nation…let the U.S. really know what Detroit has going on
• Got another idea? Let’s hear it…I am open. As long as it is respectful and inspiring

OPTIONAL: I know Detroit has artists. Add an appropriate painting and/or picture to your letter

GUIDELINES: Please keep it to 300 words or less. As I am sure you know, people have short attention spans nowadays – keep it simple
